Welcome friends and family. I've spent a little time scanning photos and
articles of my father, James Bruce McLaughlin that had been collected for me.
With the exception of a few official documents including at least 20 copies of
the Report of Casualty (??), this is all I have of my late father. Somehow
things were misplaced, lost or casually discarded. I'm working on this page
mostly for myself, but also for the people that knew him. I'm keeping digital
copies of these for my own two boys who are still too young to understand. My
greatest fear is that one day all of this will be gone too. Keep in mind, I
never knew my father; I was just over a year old when he was killed. If anyone
would like to add something here, just let me know. I sure would appreciate it. I'm trying to learn what I can about my Father and the men who served with
him. I'm also trying to learn about Vietnam Conflict. I've been reading a bit
and talking with people. I want to thank the members of the 75th Inf. Rangers
who invited me to their reunion this past summer of 2007 and for the warm
welcome that I received.
